THE WINERY
A family winery fruit of the Lanzarote tradition. Bodega Tisalaya is a very particular project of Miguel Morales Morín, on the island of volcanoes, in the municipality of Tinajo. Two family plots, Tisalaya and Juan Bello, both located in the National Park of Timanfaya and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes. A land where the wine culture is something very special and different from anywhere else. The climate is arid, dry and windy, only because of the volcanoes can wine be made.

Winery
The vineyard of 1.45 hectares, located in the National Park of Timanfaya, with an average age of 60 years, cultivated in the typical holes in the volcanic sand or rofe, 250 m above sea level. Some vines are more than 100 years old.
Crops
The wines of Bodega Tisalaya are the result of the harvest in Lanzarote of 2 varieties: diego and malvasia volcanica.
Harvest
Harvest by hand, maceration with skins for 12 hours, manual pressing in a press, spontaneous fermentation, and subsequent ageing for 10 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks.
